Mike Watkinson, Lancashire's cricket manager, said: �..We have a very busy schedule of matches towards the end of the season and we will need everyone firing at such an important time. Oliver is currently short of cricket and this is a good opportunity for him play competitive first-class cricket until he is required by Lancashire in the not-so-distant future.�.�

Jack Russell, Gloucestershire's team mentor, said: "We are all looking forward to Oliver joining the squad. He is a young pace bowler with lots of talent. He will be important to us to help share the workload within the bowling unit."
