John Simpson has signed a professional contract with Middlesex for the remainder of 2008 and 2009. An MCC Young Cricketer, he has turned out for Middlesex 2nd XI this summer, and in previous years has represented Lancashire and Nottinghamshire.
ā..Iā..m delighted to have signed for Middlesex but I wonā..t be getting complacent,ā. he said. ā..Iā..m still at the bottom of the ladder fighting with lots of others to improve and become a county regular and, hopefully, one day play for England.ā.
