Steve Davies, the 21-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman, has signed a one-year contract extension with Worcestershire.

"We are delighted that Steven has agreed to this contract extension. He is one of our most talented young players and we want to secure his future with us," Steve Rhodes, Worcestershire's director of cricket, said. "He is a born and bred Worcestershire lad and has secured a regular place in the first team and is pushing hard for full international honours."
