Troughton and Groenewald extended deals

Jim Troughton and Tim Groenewald have signed new two-year deals with Warwickshire to take them through to the end of the 2009 season.

â..I have been with Warwickshire since I was 12 and I Iâ..ve enjoyed every minute of my time with the club," said Troughton

Troughton is averaging 46 in the Championship this season with three centuries but Groenewald has taken only nine wickets and 47 to go alongside seven at 39 in the Friends Provident Trophy.

Mark Greatbach, the director of coaching, said: "They are both well-liked and well rounded members of the squad who I will continue to enjoy working with next season.â.
