Worcestershire’s weather woes continued, as they tried to play a match – this time in the Pro40.

Despite changing venue – after Derbyshire stepped in to allow them to play at the County Ground – they could not beat the rain, and their game with Hampshire was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The floodlit match was supposed to be this year’s curtain raiser of the Pro40 league. Instead it was yet another washout.
