Borrington joins Derbyshire committee

Tony Borrington, the former Derbyshire batsman, has been co-opted onto Derbyshire’s committee following the resignation of Mike Stones.

Borrington played 122 first-class matches for the club between 1971 and 1980, scoring 4230 runs at an average of 23.63. Borrington scored three hundreds and 22 fifties for Derbyshire.

His son, Paul Borrington, is a recent graduate of the Derbyshire Academy and is currently on a summer-contract with the club while studying at Loughborough University.
