Wagg determined to take his chance

Posted on 04/18/2006 in Derbyshire

After serving a 15-month ban for failing a drugs test, Graham Wagg insists that he has a lot to offer Derbyshire, and has received the support and praise from his captain Graeme Welch:

..It would be great to get back to where I was before,. Wagg told ecb.co.uk. ..It was brilliant when we went to India .. it was an awesome experience. It was great to be there and I want to be there again, but my main goal is score a lot of runs, take a lot of wickets in first class cricket, and I'm always going to be knocking on the door.

..It doesn't matter who you are .. if you're scoring runs and taking wickets, you have always got that chance, and I want to get back to where I was or even better..
