Its good news to hear that the franchise system is attracting foreign talent and overally this is a positive for Zimbabwe Cricket. I certainly hope that the season is going to be beneficial to the country as playing more will increase our capabilities of playing in the Tests again and hopefully attract more players, notably Sean Ervine because i believe he is one player that is needed as well as Antony Ireland to increase the pace attack. The recent Bangladesh series showed that, apart from the lack of consistency, our batsmen have managed to pull huge scores only for the ballers to disappoint us once again. I wish more Kenya Cricketers can be accomodated in the new Zim domestic structure. The Nairobi league has no standards and no money.

I honestly feel cricket kenya should talk to steve if he can stay .with his experience we need his services n with the new coach in place steve can also be drafted into the tecnical bench come player so they can start working together.But its also steve decision and i wish him wel in his new Task gd luck mate

With a player of such quality, i believe the future holds great things not only for him but his new place and Kenya. It's a pity that Kenya has few quality players between him and youngster, Alex Obanda.

Test playing nations should adopt their neighbours and include them as a team in their domestic league. This is the only way to generate interest in the game. For example India can include Nepal in their domestic league and South Africa can include Kenya and Zimbabwe in their domestic league. This way even weak teams can get a chance to play against competitive side and gain experience.

Tikolo could have been a decent choice for coach player's role for Kenya itself.
