which eight other teams will play without Afghanistan And Hong Kong?

Posted by: colin macbeth at May 22, 2009 1:23 PM

Israfeel: Afghanistan and Hong Kong have won through already, as have Uganda and Sierra Leone from the Africa section. The six others will come from eliminators in America, Europe and SE Asia (two apiece). There will be 10 teams in the competition. The top five will then go on to join the 10 Test nations plus Kenya for a 16-team finals in Kenya (Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru) in Jan/Feb 2010. I think it's something to look forward to!

I think it would be a golden Oppurtunity for Afghanistan under 19 Cricket team to win this title, Unfourtunitely we did not win the ICC world Cup qualifier round for 2011 world cup, but now we hope to win under 19 world cup qualifier round, I watch the player of under 19 from very close in Afghanistan National Ground, they are smartly outstanding, and the way they hard word and show their effert are brilliant, lets wait for the crucial movements which is comming, thanks Cricinfo and Canadian Cricket Committee to host this tournament. the players will enjoy the beautful and lovely enviroment in Canada.

It seems Afghan team has alot of support. Go Canada I hope Canada wins this game and it will be an excitement tournament to watch and for your information the worldcup has been changed from Kenya to Newzealand so the under 19 worldcup 2010 will be hosted in Newzealand. Good luck to all and Go Canada all the way.
