The Africa Under-19 Championship got underway this week and the big surprise from the tournament so far is the appearance of Sierra Leone at the top of the table. They kicked things off by beating Kenya by four wickets then followed it up with a 10-wicket thrashing of Nigeria, who were bowled out for a paltry 44. Uganda, second-placed in the table with two wins out of three, beat Tanzania quite comfortably by six wickets, but their unbeaten run came to an end when Namibia rolled them for 128.

as i took my cricket microscope inside the sierra leone cricket Association,i think they have been neglect by there Governament's,they need about two standard cricket all grasss green fields,which in 5 years time will earn them an ODI status in the game ,i sugest the ICC pay a visit there,and ask tyhe goverment to green the field,the government listen to internation call only as it happen to football so they want to be to our darling cricket,please icc help them get a standard cricket pitch,so as to enjoy seeing more cricket,from these still virgin resources of players that you are admiring now.
