Umpires have also reported continued poor time-keeping when it comes to the toss, meaning games often start and finish late, and there has also been a failure by many clubs to provide replacement balls.
The situation has got so bad that the BCB are now considering what sanctions they can take against the worst offenders.
"We will be writing to the clubs to remind them of the standards of behaviour that we expect in the game," said vice president Allen Richardson.
"If that doesn't work then we will publicly name and shame the clubs involved, telling the public exactly what has gone on.
With such scandal surrounding Bermuda cricket, are we really surprised at their poor performances in international cricket? How can we. I think that the ICC should forget about Bermuda until they clean up their mess. The ICC should focus on more serious competitors, more organized and disciplined teams and boards.
Once again the great cricinfo decides to shine a light on Bermuda by publishing unsubstantiated claims made in a local newspaper of used syringes in a changing room. This is a misleading accusation with the source of the syringes coming from squatters who slept in a room at a local club (not the changing room) without permission. As for the other claims of the article, please keep in mind that Bermuda cricketers work for a living and play only on weekends as a recreational sport. Please lay off and allow for Bermuda's cricket development to take place. There are some who want to keep Bermuda cricket down and we don't need Cricinfo or anyone else aiding that cause.
