Once again the same incompetent people are nominating each other. The SER rep to the board has openly hand picked people who are yes men to him. Either you agree and support his decisions or you're out. How can there be any credibility to this organization. In the SER, the personnel remains status-quo and the lack of foresight to build cricket continues. I would however like to commend the New York program to get cricket into the schools. We need this type of pro-activeness down here in Florida not people hungry for power with inflated egos.

ICC will not lift sanctions. Auditor is missing. Elections are held in Washington in Dainty house. Who will do background check. These people have already been executive so no background required.

Once again cricket is headed to a death row sentence by Dainty and his gang of yard fowls. Cricket will never be the same as long as these guys are allowed to be administrators. Here we are having an election to be held at Dainty's house in Washington so it is obvious what the results will be...De ja vu..Where is the independent auditor here(a friend of Dainty's). What a shame and disgrace. Remember, anyone who continues to reject change is the architect of decay. USACA should relocate to Cuba. The rules are alike. ICC will not accept this travesty

Well, it seems that the USA-CCLP (USA Council of Cricket League Presidents has decided not to wait for USACA or ICC to do anything about US cricket. It has set up an organization called Cricket Council USA, whose goal "...is to promote the game of cricket at the grass-root AND professional levels in the USA." Their first planned major event is a five day 20/20 tournament with worldwide as well as local participation, sometime in late Fall 2007; for further details, check their website at www.cricketcouncilusa.com. By the way, if the Website contents have a familiar ring, it is because some illustrious figures from US cricket's recent past are involved-- let's see how good you are at guessing! Their basic point, of course, that it is pointless waiting for ICC or USACA -- better just move along without them.

whoever you guys are with the cricket counsil, please do not try breaking USACA, it has taken a lot of effort from all the executive to come up to this and have an organization in place, so have courtesy not to interfere in cricket in USA, let us handle it and stay out of it

Sorry, Leader. As just about any one in US cricket knows, USACA has not only done zilch in the past several years since its current administration has been in office, in that time it has managed to (a) get itself kicked out of membership in the ICC, (b) failed to meet a single one of the six ICC requirements for Associate Membership, (c) forfeited entry into any ICC-sponsored international tournaments for an indefinite period-- and these are only for starters. I think that Cricket Council USA has the right idea-- let USACA stew in their own juices; don't wait for them or ICC to solve anything; and simply proceed as if they do not exist. Congrats, USA-CCLP (USA Council of Cricket League Presidents); you have proved, once more, that you are the only guys who are moving forward with US cricket, so best of luck.

For those who dont know and need to: The affairs of the USA Council of Cricket League Presidents are being managed for now by a 7-member Interim Committee, consisting of: Bhargava Vadapalli (NW League President), Mo Ally (Florida), Usman Shuja (Midwest League), Jefroy Morrishaw (New York), SMX Refaie and Dr. Atul Rai(for USA-CCLP provisional management). (Please add any IC names The Interim Committee I forgot-- I am doing this from memory.)
The members of this unheralded IC Committee is responsible for (a) holding the first asnd so far only full-quorum General Meeting of the USACA two years ago, where the Dainlty-led USACA Executve was subjected to an offical and national no-confidence vote-- something that has never happened before or since in US cricket history). Since then, it has been responsible for pushing for every significant challenge to Dainty and Co. when all others had given up. A vote of thanks to you guys=="Never have so many depended for so much on so few of you."

"Opinions do count" but yours sure don't because you have it all wrong. In Washington there is a saying, "People that know are not talking and the people that are talking know nothing". Let us give the process a chance and if we don't see new faces in the Executive then we throw in the towel. I for one am not ready to give up just as yet.

As for me I have taken a sabbatical and am not going to be filing nominations, accepting one or running for any positions. Not sure how much more clearer I can get.

This is Usman Shuja and I confirm that I have NO association with the USA CCLP organization. I reject this claim and urge the "An official scorer" to correct this statement.

I think Kamran Khan should be President I like him alot. I think he will be great for the cricket in USA. he has done good in the past when he was president.

Who is this man Ram Vararaj and Shahid running for President and VP of USACA? What experience do they have in domestic Cricket. I for one will vote for Dainty or Qamran. Known people in the industry. USACA will start fresh from now on.

Sorry to correct you, Usman, but your name IS listed as a member of the Interim Committee and has been so since the inaugural meeting of the Committee in Dallas last year. I was at the meeting, so I know. The official records of the meeting, which you may remember were officially notarized, srare that the Interim Committee would continue in existence until AFTER the USACA elections were held, at which time the Interim Committee would reconvene to decide on its next course of action. I am surprised that you wish to diavow so completely a role that ptobably saved US cricket from being permanently destroyed by Dainty and Company-- I would vote to awad medals to all of you IC members before you managed to disavow all your good works! WOW sad to hear all the money hungry , non Educated , uncivilized and unorganized group of grown men are in control of the future if cricket in the US. I feel bad especially for the ones who suffer out of this.... The young Players !!!!
