Afghanistan cricket has been boosted by their success in last November’s ACC Twenty20 Cup where they finished joint winners. More than US$23,000 was donated by the president and local businesses and in addition US$40,000 was given by Afghans in Kuwait, where the tournament was played. The government also promised to give land to each member of the victorious squad. More significantly, the education minister has pledged to build a ground in Kabul for school cricket.
Taj Malik, the Afghanistan Cricket Federations's secretary general, said: "There are so many other awards, medals, cash prizes, gifts , free mobile phones, watches, certificates, it was very useful for Afghan cricket. Now cricket is flying high in Afghanistan."
All afghan wishes to see the national cricket team in the international battal. Once afghan will see the game in international level or through media so it will be more touching to every body. Here is some internal problems in the federation due to some mismanagement we hope to develop the management team in high standrad inorder to be good decision maker. the ACC is highly requested to help Afghanistan once to show their flag in the international level cricket we are sure our teams will achive the goals in first games because the team contains expert players such to point for (M. Nabi,H.Hassan,& so the other all)the coach Taj malik alam is a key person to the team who knows how to train players but he still has to work hard and hard which will benifit our cricket skills. (Afghanistan just need to be pushed in the internatinal cricket)

This is a very positive start for Afghanistan cricket. Some may miss the point, but building a strong international cricket team start at the schools and the infrastructure at that level. Of course international success certainly helps and brings a boost to the game at all levels, and of course more money for the development. Afghanistan will get there in time and i would expect them to be pushing for test cricket in the next 15-20 years or so. Remember Afghanistan even the "longest journey starts with the first step."

the afghanistan national team will go through to way of ICC w cup inshullah because they have talent and pond to be play on live screen and we wish and pray to ALlah success them and participate in the world cup Inshullah .I think in the next Divi no so strong they are same teams like this Divi Hong Kong and Italy one of them . Inshullah we will win and AfGun team will take the next tropy and will Qualifiying to next Divi and then to ICC world cup in Sharjah Dubai Inshullah Please Muslim brother pray for AfGUN teams.......................................
