The BBC have an in-depth report on cricket in Afghanistan where the sport's popularity continues to thrive, in spite of the lack of money available for pitches, grounds and so forth.

afghanstan never will win any of the turnaments coz of talent because the top dogs selects their on families and friend to gain name or money coz all the top dogs in afghanstan in all catagories selfish and cowerds, and i beleve one day will come and they will be questioned
Afghanistan have got an excellent talent of cricket as there have been many talented crickers who have the ability to bring positive results, but unfortunately due to the unproper selection, these young talented boys are out of the box. If the Cricket Federation in Afghanistan take a real trial, they can find even better players who can bring Afghanistan at top. Meanwhile the Afghanistan Sport Federation should facilitate a cricket playing enviroment to the players in all the provinces, especially in the capital Kabul. I would say this can be the first step towards the achievements as the country dont have any cricket ground.
