Barry Ganese hit the cricketing maximum on Friday (August 10), powering his was to six sixes in one over of six balls. Ganese was playing for Toronto and District Premier club Overseas against the touring Trinidad and Tobago club side Powergen at Maple Leaf CC, King City, Ontario. He continued to score freely and took his side to victory with an individual score of 80 runs not out from a mere 30 balls.
“I've had close encounters before with four and five sixes in an over, but this was the first time for six sixes,” he said. “It was a big thrill out there. It was especially good to have family and friends - a lot of friends - around to see it.” He admitted that a few of his ten sixes were mishits.

I was there...the ground was big, the sixes were huge, it was a sight to behold. A number of spectators, from both sides, commented on having read or seen such a feat on TV, but never seeing it live....you just had to be there. IN the true spirit of the game, Barry and the bowler, posed for photographs after the game. Way to go Barry!

Same day another 5 sixers in 1 over - Montreal Blues B division Player Kamal hit 5 sixers in 1 over and made 100 with around 25 balls

I was there as well Rags....and you're right! It was a sight to behold! Indeed!
Did not want Barry to get all the attention for the feat though as I believe that the bowler played his part tremendously well and deserves honourable mention.
His name is Farrell Jagmohan, an off-spinner, who plys his trade for the Powergen Sports Club outfit, a top club in the top flight of the Trinidad & Tobago Cricket Board competitions.
Way to go Farrell!! You're now in the illustrious company of Malcolm Nash, Tilak Raj and Daan van Bunge (of Garry Sobers, Ravi Shastri and Herschelle Gibbs' fame respectively)!

I tell ya this man can hit far. I know Barry personally because we play for the same club. Barry is well known in Tdot for his big hitting. Congratulations to Barry on this great achievement. Way to go Overseas CC!

Played with Bharat(Barry) in The British Columbia league when he was in his teens and not surprise of this feat. Excellent player! Congrats...Robin
