A Bulgarian travel blog has an interesting (albeit rather confusing) report on the poor state of the country's pitches which it blames on the insect of the same name. At least, we think that is the case. Have a read and leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Confusing to say the least, but I'm pretty sure that this article has absolutely nothing to do with cricket fields, just field crickets!

The article clearly has nothing to do with the game cricket, the author is simply including many references to the game as puns.

Bulgaria plays on an artificial surface, or at least they did two seasons ago.
